If you're a proven Lead, journeyman HVAC installer, or senior install tech looking for top-of-market pay, real benefits, and a shop that runs like a professional operation, we want to talk.

Pay: $32-$50+/hr DOE โ€” no ceiling, top Leads earn well over $50/hr
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 DOE and driving record (paid quarterly over 2 years)

What you'll do

  • Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish across Milwaukee, Waukesha, and surrounding counties

  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and full ductwork systems

  • Read and interpret installation drawings, mechanical plans, and system layouts

  • Test, balance, commission, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems

  • Train and supervise HVAC helpers and junior installers โ€” build the next generation of Capital Leads

  • Ensure every install meets local and state mechanical codes

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, with proven ability to run a job independently

  • EPA 608 / EPA Universal Certification (required)

  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check

  • NATE Installer Certification (or willing to earn it โ€” we'll help)

Strong knowledge of:

  • Refrigerant and refrigeration systems

  • Gas furnaces and electric furnaces

  • Heat pumps and ductless mini-split systems

  • Central air conditioning systems

  • Boiler systems and radiant heat

  • Residential ductwork and sheet metal design and installation

  • HVAC low-voltage controls and wiring

You should also be able to:

  • Complete residential HVAC installations independently or lead a team through them

  • Train and supervise HVAC helpers and junior installers

  • Test, balance, and commission full HVAC systems

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex install issues

  • Understand and apply residential HVAC and mechanical codes
