Apartment Maintenance Technician
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our apartment community remains in top condition—providing residents with safe, clean, and comfortable homes. You’ll handle everything from routine repairs to apartment turnovers, with the opportunity to grow and contribute to capital improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, appliances, drywall, and general building equipment.
Inspect apartments and common areas to identify issues, maintain safety standards, and stay ahead of potential problems.
Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff with efficiency and professionalism.
Complete and document work orders accurately and on time.
Track and maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
Keep buildings, common areas, and exterior grounds clean and well-maintained.
Prepare apartments for new residents through painting, cleaning, repairs, and upgrades.
Coordinate with contractors as needed, ensuring work is completed to standard and within budget before signing off on invoices.
Perform or assist with capital improvement projects and provide regular progress updates.
Purchase materials and confirm delivery and inventory tracking.
Follow all company policies, including safety protocols and fair housing regulations.
Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by property leadership.

What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
Hands-on experience in maintenance, especially within apartment or multifamily housing.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team, with a keen eye for detail.
Owns basic tools required for routine maintenance work.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and crawl
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
