Location: Simi Valley, CA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $85,000 โ€“ $115,000 per year
Employment Type: Permanent

Overview

NexGen HVAC & Plumbing is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality residential and light commercial HVAC installations, ensuring systems are efficient, reliable, and built to last. We value craftsmanship, professionalism, and clear communicationโ€”and we provide the tools and support needed for you to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full HVAC system installations, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections
  • Review installation plans and ensure all work meets local building codes
  • Conduct system start-ups, testing, and quality checks
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding installation process and expectations
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Work independently or alongside team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Mentor junior installers and uphold high workmanship standards

Requirements

Must Have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and local building codes
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and similar environments
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
