Location: Simi Valley, CA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $85,000 – $115,000 per year
Employment Type: Permanent

Overview

NexGen HVAC & Plumbing is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality residential and light commercial HVAC installations, ensuring systems are efficient, reliable, and built to last. We value craftsmanship, professionalism, and clear communication—and we provide the tools and support needed for you to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Perform full HVAC system installations, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical connections
  • Review installation plans and ensure all work meets local building codes
  • Conduct system start-ups, testing, and quality checks
  • Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding installation process and expectations
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites
  • Work independently or alongside team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Mentor junior installers and uphold high workmanship standards

Requirements

Must Have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC installation
  • Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and local building codes
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and similar environments
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
