Job description

Job Description Commercial HVAC Service Technician We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment while delivering reliable service and customer support. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, heat pumps, package units, air handlers, exhaust systems, and make-up air units. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, airflow, and control system issues.

Service compressors, motors, contactors, relays, capacitors, belts, bearings, and other electrical/mechanical components. Perform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, evacuation, and charging in compliance with EPA regulations. Read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and manufacturer service manuals.

Complete service reports, communicate repair recommendations, maintain company vehicle/tools, participate in an on-call rotation, and follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards. Qualifications 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience. EPA Universal Certification required.

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Strong communication, customer service, and independent work skills. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in mechanical rooms, on rooftops, and outdoors. Preferred Experience with Trane, Carrier, Lennox, York, Daikin, AAON, Rheem, Mitsubishi, or similar commercial HVAC equipment.

Familiarity with BAS, HVAC controls, VFDs, economizers, energy management systems, and ventilation equipment. NATE Certification and OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
