Job description

Michigan Mechanical Ventures is a fast-growing contractor in Southeast Michigan looking to add an experienced and driven HVAC Project Manager to our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing commercial HVAC projects from conception to completion. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide regular updates and address any concerns.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and manage billing to ensure profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, including field technicians and other staff.
  • Subcontractor & Supplier Coordination: Source, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in HVAC project management, with a strong focus on commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
