HVAC Technician
Direct Hire – Zip Code 77042
Salary to 62-64K ($30-31 hr) based on experience and qualifications
Reports to Corporate Facilities Manager
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Summary/Objective
The HVAC Technician is responsible for supporting the facilities team by performing HVAC diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs across company properties. This role serves as a technical resource by evaluating repair recommendations, validating vendor quotes, troubleshooting equipment issues, and helping ensure cost-effective maintenance solutions.
  
Essential Functions

  • Perform minor HVAC repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for commercial facilities.
  • Inspect and verify HVAC issues to determine appropriate repair solutions.
  • Review vendor recommendations and evaluate repair estimates to ensure repairs are necessary, accurate, and cost-effective.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for major HVAC repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to improve system performance and extend equipment life.
  • Respond to facility maintenance requests and assist with general building maintenance tasks beyond HVAC when required.
  • Will assist with general maintenance requests as needed

Working Conditions
Work Environment
This position requires working in commercial facilities and occasional residential properties in both indoor and outdoor environments. The role involves standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions and confined spaces. The technician must follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and travel between company locations as needed. 
 
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, time TBD. The employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.

  • Certified License and HVAC Certification
  • 5 or more years of experience.
  • High School Diploma required
