MUST DO
  • Responsible for hosting guests of Rocker W Ranch, ensuring a welcoming environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate with the Administrative Assistant on guest transportation to and from the airport.
  • Oversee guest check-in, welcoming guests of Rocker W Ranch upon arrival, directing them to their lodging, and providing them with a schedule for their stay.
  • Host guests at Homestead Cabin by arranging food trays and beverages and providing ATV buggies for ranch tours.
  • Oversee catering and meal presentations for guests, including group meals and VIP food offerings at Homestead Cabin.
  • Oversee the procurement of appropriate hunting and fishing licenses for guests.
  • Responsible for ordering, collecting fees, and completion of all taxidermy orders, and maintaining a master list of all taxidermy orders for big game harvests (October - Spring).
  • Maintain and operate the fishing program, including, but not limited to, maintaining tackle, providing bait, cultivating fish populations, and clearing and mowing pond banks in the appropriate seasons.
  • Maintain and operate the shooting range, skeet throwers, shotguns, and laser range, including, but not limited to, cleaning and storing all shotguns and operating the laser room and pistol range.
  • Ensure facilities are clean and orderly at all times by hauling away trash from guest facilities and inspecting the work of contract cleaning crews after scheduled cleanings.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building functions, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, WiFi, and Hot Water, for all guest-related buildings (Rocker W Lodge, Good Traveler Inn, Tallgrass Lodge, Homestead Cabin, and Shooting Range) and report system issues to WGM Facilities Department.
  • Implement an inclement-weather sheltering program, monitor severe weather, and alert guests when needed.
  • Oversee First-Aid program.
  • Collaborate with other staff to help maintain a security presence at the ranch.
  • Help with seasonal brush hogging and other duties as needed.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in restaurant/hotel management or church leadership ministry preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with A/C, electrical, and hot water systems.
  • Proficient with technology.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow through on a wide variety of tasks with consistency and attention to detail.

WORK SCHEDULE
  • Part-time (182 days a year) Or
  • Full-time with on-site housing provided (one-bedroom spacious apartment)
