Team Overview

In this role as Sr. Human Resources Business Partner, you will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and be responsible for providing comprehensive HR consultation and support to designated teams to define and execute people strategies. You will lead organizational assessment alongside our executive leadership team that converts strategies into result-driven actions, manage key employee relations and engagement matters, and act as a liaison with other HR functions (Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.). This is a crucial role for ADF as we look to grow and scale the ministry, steward our resources well, and care for the people God has called to this mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR thought leadership to the executive team and department leaders through advising, influencing, and providing data and insights to achieve strategic objectives through people strategies.
  • Handle employee relations matters for your designated teams, provide guidance on conflict resolution, and ensure a positive work environment aligning with ADF's values.
  • Educate and train team leaders on the performance management process and the goals of team member development.
  • Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and support team member development initiatives.
  • Provide change management and coaching to embrace opportunities of scale and growth successfully.
  • Proactively assess team, team leaders, and organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Use HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover, and other key metrics to inform decision-making and optimize team member experience.
  • Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
  • Assist in managing organizational change by facilitating communication and supporting team members through transitions.
  • Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure the right talent is available at the right time, participate in recruitment efforts, and support the onboarding process for new team members.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Provide guidance on HR-related compliance matters.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members at all levels, including C-suite.
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify issues, and provide practical and effective solutions.
  • Experience managing organizational change and helping employees navigate transitions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in handling sensitive HR matters.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or professional HR certification.
