- Position: Transport Driver
- Location: Tupelo, MS
- Hours: Flexible Hours | Part Time |
The Position:
- Safely transport children enrolled in the PDHC transportation program.
- Assist with loading and unloading children from transport vehicles alongside a medical escort.
- Follow transportation schedules and complete all required documentation.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure no belongings or children are left behind.
- Collaborate with the transport coordinator to troubleshoot transportation issues.
- Communicate with caregivers and families regarding transportation details.
- Respond to emergency situations during transport when requested.
- Maintain a positive, harmonious environment for the children and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical school or college preferred).
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license and Chauffeur’s License.
- CPR certification.
- One year of experience in commercial driving or chauffeuring (preferred).
- Experience in caring for children, particularly those with medical needs (preferred).
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years preferred).
