Job description

A hospitality organization based in Greenville, SC is hiring a Human Resources Generalist. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a polished, service-oriented environment and enjoys balancing employee relations, recruiting, payroll support, and HR operations. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on employee relations matters and HR policies
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate coordination, interviewing support, and onboarding activities
  • Process and audit bi-weekly payroll accurately for hourly and salaried employees while ensuring employee hours and pay data are correct
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS data with a high level of accuracy
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure all employment documentation is completed and maintained properly
  • Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee assistance inquiries
  • Assist with HR compliance initiatives, employment law adherence, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Partner with managers to enhance recruiting, onboarding, and employee experience processes
  • Generate HR reports, conduct audits, and identify opportunities to improve HR systems and workflows
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs, special projects, and employee engagement activities


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources with exposure to employee relations, recruiting, and payroll administration
  • Experience processing payroll and maintaining HRIS data records
  • Understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional customer-service approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR technology platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
