Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant assists the Human Resources Department staff with basic office tasks. Such tasks include, but are not limited to, filing, data entry, office supply ordering, scanning personnel files, and assisting other HR team members as necessary.

Schedule:

  • 0.8 FTE (32 hours)
  • Mon-Fri
  • No Weekend or Holidays

Compensation:

  • $22.47/hr+ DOE
  • Robust Benefits Package

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Follow the Standards of Excellence and model this to all employees and patients.
  2. Data Entry in the HRIS.
  3. Oversee all onboarding of the new hire process.
  4. Back up presenter of New Employee Orientation.
  5. Greet staff and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
  6. With direction, completes various types of paperwork and files copies in appropriate general, personnel, or other files as required.
  7. Office supply ordering.
  8. Making new employee name badges.
  9. Completes verification for employment forms as needed.
  10. Print and prepare various HR flyers and packets for employees.
  11. Responds to any HR requests that come through the HR general phone number and email.
  12. Clean and organize the HR office. This includes, but is not limited to, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash, and vacuuming.
  13. Assist the HR Director and Employee Health RN as necessary with various tasks.
  14. Assists with employee events.
  15. Assist with HR related projects.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 3+ years experience in customer service and administrative duties.
  3. Excellent Computer skills.
  4. Knowledge of Microsoft office products.
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  6. Must be able to treat all information as confidential.
  7. Excellent organizational skills.
  8. Efficiency and accuracy in work performance is mandatory.
  9. Must be able to remain calm, courteous, and respectful in stressful situations.
  10. Good work ethic.
  11. High level of integrity.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Positive upbeat attitude and ability to be flexible with workload and work schedule.
  2. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  3. Previous experience at the Human Resources Clerk level.
  4. Experience with Dimensions and Lawson systems.
