Chief Human Resources Officer

About the Opportunity

Relocation Assistance Available: Our client is offering a relocation package for qualified candidates who are moving to the area for this opportunity.


Our client is seeking a Head of Human Resources to join its leadership team. This individual will be responsible for leading the organization's people strategy while overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources function.


This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who enjoys serving as both a strategic business partner and a hands-on leader. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership to strengthen organizational effectiveness, attract and retain exceptional employees, develop leaders, and build scalable processes that support the company's long-term objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the organization's overall Human Resources strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on people-related initiatives.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, compensation, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develop and enhance HR policies, programs, and processes that improve consistency and operational effectiveness.
  • Coach leaders on employee development, performance, and organizational challenges.
  • Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate compensation practices and recommend strategies to remain competitive.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Human Resources team.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
  • Experience leading multiple functional areas within Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence leaders, manage change, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Preferred

  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting a multi-site organization.
