Job description

We are hiring full time Human Resource Coordinator to join the Human Resource team at Wellfound. This is an in person position Monday - Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm.
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.
Position information:
The Human Resource Coordinator provides the initial contact for Wellfound employees and candidates and is responsible for the recruiting and onboarding of new hires.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide information about human resources guidelines, policies, regulations, procedures
  • Responsible for full cycle health care recruiting and onboarding new hires
  • Oversee the pre-employment process (i.e. drug screens, background verifications, references, etc) and onboarding of new hires.
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to multitask as needed
  • Able to work on multiple systems

  • Hourly - $24.58-$35.82 an hour depending on experience
  • Great benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Supplemental Life Insurance eligible the first of the month following 30 days of hire.
  • Employee Assistance Program up on hire
  • 403B with discretionary match for those that participate in the plan and meet work requirements
  • Paid Time Off - You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.
  • Paid Time Off will be accrued based on hours worked and tenure. You will accrue 0.12 hours of PTO per hours worked until you reach the next level of accrual. PTO cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date with the exception of designated Wellfound holidays.

What We Require:
Education:
  • Associate degree in human resources, human services or related field
Work Experience:
  • Two years of Human Resource experience to include healthcare recruitment, onboarding, policy interpretation, and HRIS.
  • Applied basic knowledge of human resource best practices within an office environment
