Our Human Resource Director will play a vital role in our organization by leading and developing our HR team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Director to join our leadership team in Fairlawn, OH. As a key member of our organizational development team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, Benefits, training, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and engage top talent

  • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and new hire orientations

  • Develop and maintain employee policies, procedures, and employee handbooks

  • Analyze and improve HR processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

  • Serve as a designated liaison for employee relations, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement training programs and leadership development initiatives

  • Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring effective use of resources

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a HR director role

  • 2+ years' experience in a leadership role

  • Preferred experience in long-term care

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and laws

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
