Human Resources - Personnel Specialist

The Biddeford, Dayton, and Saco School Departments, along with the Southern Maine Administrative Collaborative, are seeking a Human ResourceSpecialist with a focus on Personnel Operations to join our Human Resources team.

This year-round position reports to the Director of Human Resources and supports all aspects of personnel operations, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employee records, contracts, licensure tracking, and HR compliance.

Essential Functions

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Personnel records and employment documentation
  • HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Customer service and collaboration
  • Maintaining confidentiality and strong organizational skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree [or equivalent experience].
  • SHRM or PHR Professional Human Resource Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years human resource-related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience is desirable.
  • Current State of Maine Criminal History Records Check approval or ability to obtain.

Compensation:

Based on education and experience

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000

FLSA Status:       Exempt.  Salaried position, year-round.
