Job description

Lead IT Analyst North America - Mining & HR Systems (Coeur Mining, Inc.; Chicago, IL): Coordinate and manage Information Technology (IT) projects to address the business needs of mining sites in the U.S. and Mexico. Work with key members of various departments and IT teams in the U.S. and Mexico in both English and Spanish to identify application issues, system enhancements, business process, and new user requirements. Act as liaison between the IT team and business customers within our U.S. and Mexican mining sites. Create status reports, budget risk assessments, project plans, schedules, and other documentation required for effective and comprehensive IT project controls. Understand core business objectives of our U.S. and Mexican mining sites and translate business needs into a clear definition of IT requirements. Design and implement business process improvement strategies related to IT. Support mining business processes end-to-end to identify and address operational, human resources, and technological risks in the context of IT projects. Provide Oracle support with user administration, release management, license management. Provide support as Software Specialist for HR and mining technologies. Coordinate key internal IT controls and ensure they are followed properly. Troubleshoot and debug IT systems to ensure error-free functionality and end-user satisfaction. Lead efforts to support and enhance business processes and IT systems to support supply chain, financial business functions, and HR/PR systems. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Salary is $133,182 per year. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, & work location. #LI-DNI
Bonus: Employees are eligible for bonuses that are more than 3% based on personal and company performance, but such bonuses are not guaranteed.
Benefits: Full benefits on day 1 (medical, vision, dental, employee assistance program, and Teladoc service) and 6% dollar-for-dollar employer match to 401k, Roth, or immediate vesting.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
  • Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: ERP components and Oracle E-Business Suite, including Data acquisition, ETL, and reporting to support cross-functional departments; Applying operational processes and procedure development in a production environment; and Serving as a Software Administrator and license manager for mining technologies, including Seequent, Maptek, ESRI, Autodesk, and AcQuire.
  • Of the required experience, must have 2 years of work experience with the following: Supporting IT projects related to mining operations in the U.S. and Mexico; and Reporting and analytics tools, including EIS, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Of the required experience, must have 1 year of work experience with the following: Serving as a Software Specialist for HR technologies, including Oracle HR and Fortia; and Oracle applications within module groups, including Financials, Supply Chain, EAM, and Payroll.
  • Must have fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written.
  • Telecommuting may be permitted up to 3 days a week, depending on business need.
  • Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 15%.
  • Travel to various international locations required up to 15%.
