Human Resource Manager

Position Summary

Hillcroft Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee daily HR operations and support employees and leaders across the agency. This position manages HR staff and key functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily HR operations and supervise assigned HR staff.
  • Lead recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave, workers’ compensation, training, and performance-management processes.
  • Advise supervisors on employee relations, attendance, corrective action, and policy interpretation.
  • Maintain HR systems and records, prepare workforce reports, and support employment-law and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with investigations, compensation administration, safety initiatives, and HR-related risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible HR experience; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of employment law, benefits, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and confidential recordkeeping.
  • Strong communication, judgment, organization, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Supervisory experience and SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Requirements

Must complete required background checks and pre-employment screenings and maintain a valid Indiana driver’s license, insurable driving record, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
