Human Resources Manager

Location: Rochester, MN (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: $85,000 – $110,000 base + up to 15% bonus

Overview:
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to own and elevate the full scope of HR operations within a fast-paced, technical organization in Rochester, MN.

This is a hands-on HR leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving core HR programs that support both employees and business objectives. You will partner closely with leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals in a dynamic, science-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for professional and exempt roles
  • Oversee onboarding, relocation support, and employee recognition programs
  • Design and manage performance management frameworks, including annual review processes
  • Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, and training & development
  • Serve as escalation point for complex employee relations matters and investigations
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends and make recommendations to leadership
  • Support learning and development initiatives and internal employee growth opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Stay current on HR best practices, employment law updates, and HRIS/HR technology

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong employee relations and HR program ownership
  • Experience in compensation, compliance, talent management, and full HR lifecycle support
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a hands-on HR leadership role
