Job description

Title: Global Mobility Contractor - Immigration & Case Management
Position Type: Full Time, Contract
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Compensation: $45 - 50hr
Job Overview
We're partnering with our client to find a detail-oriented Global Mobility Contractor - Immigration & Case Management to join their Global Mobility and Immigration team. This is a project-based role focused on coordinating immigration cases, tracking visa statuses, managing the Jira ticket queue, and supporting broader global mobility program operations, all while working closely with the People team and outside immigration partners.
We're looking for someone highly organized and process-oriented, with a track record of coordinating immigration casework and handling confidential information in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Jira service desk queue for global mobility and immigration inquiries, triaging incoming tickets, directing them to the right owner, and closing out routine requests directly
  • Monitor and update active immigration cases (H-1B, PERM, L-1, business visas) across internal tracking systems, incorporating updates from external counsel
  • Serve as a coordination point with outside immigration attorneys and mobility vendors, managing document collection, tracking case progress, and staying ahead of filing deadlines
  • Support day-to-day administration of the international visa program, including preparing letters of invitation (LOIs) and handling business visa requests
  • Contribute to I-9 compliance efforts and upkeep of immigration-related records
  • Keep Global Mobility documentation current and organized across Confluence and Jira
  • Help build and refine SOPs for mobility processes that involve sensitive compliance requirements
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Global Mobility and Immigration
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in Global Mobility, Immigration, or a related HR compliance function
  • Practical experience coordinating immigration cases with a working knowledge of major visa categories
  • Background managing immigration documentation, including tracking visa status, work authorization, and expiration dates
  • Proficiency with Workday and/or Jira for maintaining case records and data
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process-oriented approach to work
  • Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential employee information
