HR Generalist (Bilingual Spanish)

What you will do:


The HR Generalist provides essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function while helping create a positive and efficient employee experience. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting HR processes, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring timely and accurate data entry within the HRIS.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be able to handle confidential information with discretion, communicate effectively with employees at all levels, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.


  • Create, maintain, and update facility and HR-related spreadsheets and reports.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate employee personnel files and records.
  • File employee documents appropriately and conduct paper and electronic file audits as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter and maintain employee information in the HRIS, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Process new-hire, employee status change, and termination documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate and administer leave of absence requests and disability-related paperwork while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support throughout the recruitment and interview process, including scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Assist with a variety of HR projects, initiatives, and employee-related activities.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and company information.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you will need:

2 or more years of direct Human Resources experience preferred.

High school diploma or degree

Bi-lingual Spanish

Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience working with HRIS, databases, spreadsheets, and other HR-related systems preferred.

Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement practical solutions.

Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.

Comfortable facilitating meetings, providing training or coaching, and speaking to groups when needed.

Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take initiative in a changing work environment.
