About the Role

We'relooking for a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, evolution, and growth of our subscription plans and tiering ecosystem, as well as new monetization opportunities.

You'llhelp drive the vision and roadmap for plans, packaging, and pricing-adjacent experiences, helping ensure we deliver the right products and features to customers. This role sits at the intersection of consumer behavior, growth strategy, monetization, and product experience.

The ideal candidate combines strong product instincts with analytical rigor and has deep experience driving growth in subscription, marketplace, or consumer technology businesses.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for subscription plans andtiering, andevaluate new monetization opportunities.

  • Drive plan portfolio evolution across tiers and plans, including students plans and emerging offerings

  • Build differentiated experiences tailored to distinct consumer segments, behaviors, and willingness-to-pay profiles

  • Partner with Pricing, Finance, Data Science, and Other Product teams tooptimizeouroffering.

  • Translate user insights, market trends, and behavioral data into clear product opportunities and prioritization decisions

  • Define success metrics and own experimentation frameworks to evaluate customer and business impact

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Research, and Analytics teams to deliver high-impact customer experiences at scale

  • Balance customer value, revenue outcomes, operational complexity, and platform scalability in product decisions

  • Influence executive stakeholders with clear communication, strategic thinking, and data-informed recommendations

  • Stay current on industry trends across streaming, subscriptions, creator ecosystems, and digital consumer products

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of product management experience building and scaling consumer-facing digital products

  • Strong experience in subscriptions, monetization, growth, pricing & packaging, membership programs, or marketplace ecosystems

  • Proventrack recorddriving measurable business outcomes such as subscriber growth, conversion, retention, engagement, or revenue expansion

  • Deep understanding of experimentation, A/B testing, customer segmentation, and lifecycle optimization

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to inform product strategy and prioritization

  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Finance, and Marketing

  • Ability to simplify complex problems and align teams around a clear product vision

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Customer-obsessed mindset with strong product intuition and attention to user experience details

  • Experience working in streaming, media, entertainment, SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, or subscription-based businesses is strongly preferred

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing multi-tier subscription ecosystems across international markets

  • Familiarity with pricing strategy, promotions, billing systems, or commerce platforms

  • Experience with personalization, recommendations, or machine learning-driven growth systems

The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, California is $206,400 to $276,700 and Los Angeles, CA is $171,600 - $230,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
