Job description

Responsibilities
  • Independently design, build, and maintain features within our customer‑facing web application, taking ownership from spec through deployment
  • Architect and implement data integrations connecting our digital properties to marketing, analytics, and personalization platforms
  • Partner with product, marketing, and analytics teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions across the customer journey
  • Lead and contribute to tag management, data layer architecture, and data collection workflows that power marketing and personalization strategies
  • Lead and contribute to code reviews, drive technical discussions in sprint planning, and help raise the quality bar across the team
  • Write clean, performant, and well‑tested code; champion best practices and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript development
  • Deep, demonstrable command of JavaScript
  • Production‑level React experience, including hooks, state management, component architecture, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency with Git workflows including branching strategies, pull request reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of effective cross‑functional collaboration and technical leadership
  • Ability to work fully on‑site at our San Diego headquarters five days per week
  • Experience with Next.js or other server‑side rendering frameworks in a production environment
  • Hands‑on experience integrating with CRM, marketing automation, or customer data platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Segment)
  • Practical experience with tag management systems (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Tealium) and data layer design
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools and marketing data pipelines, including A/B testing and conversion tracking
