Position Overview: CDL-A Hub Driver As a key player on our team, you’ll engage in the safe and professional delivery of OEM automotive parts to and from our hub locations. Your role is crucial in ensuring the highest logistical standards while transporting parts to the zones where they’re most needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Route Management: Handle home-daily, night-shift hub delivery routes, planning delivery schedules based upon hub needs.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload automotive parts, adhering to all safety protocols while preventing freight damage. (typically driver assist loads)
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre and post-trip maintenance checks on your assigned CDL-A tractor trailer semi-truck to ensure optimal safety and vehicle performance.
  • Safety: Deliver parts accurately and safely while adhering to all DOT regulations.
  • Documentation: Complete and submit all required paperwork neatly and accurately at the end of your route.

Requirements:

  • Driving Experience: 2+ years in a professional driving role while operating a CDL-A tractor trailer semi-truck. (1+ years of your experience must be verifiable)
  • Safety: Must have a safe driving record with no more than 1 accident, and no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years reflecting on your motor vehicle record.
  • FMCSA: Must have an acceptable federal motor carrier safety administration record.
  • Driver Assist Unload: Must be able to conduct driver-assist unload at each hub location.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills and the ability to identify various automotive parts.
  • Certifications: A valid CDL-A commercial drivers license with no major restrictions.
  • DOT Requirements: Must have a valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one before hire which will require successfully passing a DOT physical.
  • Drug Test: Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug. Cannot have any refused or failed drug tests on record.

Required Documents To Be Submitted Upon Hire:

  • Valid CDL-A drivers’ license.
  • MVR authorization form.
  • FMCSA safety, drug and alcohol authorization form.
  • Valid DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
  • DOT drug test submission.
  • Driver employment application.
  • Safety performance history report.
