Job Description

Daily Responsibilities:  

Establishes and maintains supportive relationships with callers and their families. 

Performs professional assessment of caller's needs with accurate, concise documentation. 

Conducts thorough symptom assessment of caller's situation using established criteria and protocol.

Utilizes established software, written materials, on-line resources and nursing background to provide callers with appropriate medical information. 

Provides caller with appropriate community resources as necessary. 

Refers more complex issues as needed for consultation.  


Qualifications

Must have clear and active RN license in the state of GA

At least 2 years of acute clinical experience

Ability to speak professionally and compassionately over the phone

Strong customer service skills

Proficient with computers and ability to navigate through various systems and document notes from callers

Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts on weekends and potential overnight hours and holidays

CANNOT have any time off requests in the first 3 months of tenure


Additional Information

 Hours for this Position:

Sat, Sun, Mon- 12 hour shift between 7am-8:30 pm

Pay Rate: 

$33.00- 38.00 (negotiated based on relevant experience)
