Job description

CCBC Student Ministries exists to help students take the next step in their relationship with Jesus so that they graduate from our ministry and walk with Jesus for a lifetime.

Christ Chapel’s Mission:

To stretch every involved person from the threshold of their spiritual pilgrimage toward becoming a fully developing follower of Christ (Col 1:28-29).

Role’s Mission:

  • They will lead the FW HSM by casting the shared HSM vision, setting clear expectations and goals as well as developing staff.
  • They will have a passion to teach high schoolers theological truths, so they own their faith and ensure that all areas of the ministry reinforce a love for God’s word and theological depth.
  • Because small group leaders matter, the HSM Minister will make sure our leaders are equipped theologically, spiritually, and practically to lead our groups.
  • The HSM Minister will be the primary interface with HSM parents for shepherding and will work to equip them in discipling their children.

Role’s Other Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Central Student Director on our united teaching strategy.
  • Assist in the planning of Central HSM events.
  • Participate in FW Campus initiatives and events.

  • Must be available from time-to-time on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays to lead the setup/support/clean-up for student ministry events.
  • Must have a heart for students and those working in Student Ministry.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well in a team environment.
