What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an HSE manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an HSE Manager, you need a strong background in occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, usually supported by a degree in a relevant field and recognized certifications like NEBOSH or OSHA. Familiarity with risk assessment tools, incident reporting systems, and compliance management software is commonly required. These skills are critical for minimizing workplace hazards, maintaining legal standards, and fostering a safe, productive environment.

What is an HSE manager?
