This is an excellent opportunity to expand experience across employee relations, recruitment, investigations, compliance, HR systems, and organizational support within a mission-driven nonprofit.

As one of the primary points of contact for Human Resources, you''ll partner with employees, supervisors, and leadership to provide outstanding HR service while helping maintain a positive, compliant, and employee-focused workplace.

What You\'ll Do
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee and applicant Human Resources inquiries.
  • Provide guidance regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Support recruitment efforts including applicant communications, interview scheduling, hiring events, and onboarding.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Conduct or assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
  • Prepare corrective action documentation and maintain confidential personnel records.
  • Assist with HRIS administration, employee status changes, and reporting.
  • Support benefits administration, leave management, and employment verifications.
  • Monitor compliance with licensing, certifications, mandatory training, and employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Assist with audits, policy implementation, and Human Resources projects.
  • Provide cross-functional support across all Human Resources functions as organizational needs require.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience with employee relations and workplace investigations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, HRIS systems, and applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

This is a full-time position primarily based in an office environment with occasional travel between agency locations to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and other Human Resources initiatives.
