Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in running and coordinating the day -
to - day administrative duties of the building. This position assists with specific daily functions for the administrative department but also serves as a back-up for other key positions such as the BOM/HR and Receptionist. To be successful in this role, you will display high organizational and professional skills which include excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task, communication and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering and directing calls to appropriate care team members, departments and residents
  • Assists HR Manager with candidate review and scheduling interviews with department heads
  • Assists HR Manager with the on-boarding process for new hires
  • Serves as back-up for conducting orientation when the BOM/HR Manager is out of the office or a leave of absence
  • Serves as back-up for the receptionist during breaks or time off
  • May assist the Marketing and Admissions department as the point of contact for resident admissions
  • Assists HR Manager with conducting Care Team Member Stay and/or Exit Interviews
  • Ensure weekly appreciation events are coordinated for the Care Team Members
  • Perform other tasks as assigned within the scope of work
