Job description

Take your server hardware expertise to the next level. Adecco is seeking an experienced Senior Server Repair Technician to support advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of enterprise server systems. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who thrives on solving complex hardware issues and driving quality results in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex server hardware issues

  • Perform advanced testing, system validation, and stress testing

  • Identify root causes of server failures and implement corrective actions

  • Replace and configure server components including motherboards, processors, memory, storage, power supplies, and other hardware

  • Analyze diagnostic logs, error codes, and system performance data

  • Document repair findings, testing results, and parts usage within repair tracking systems

  • Collaborate with testing, quality, inspection, and warehouse teams to ensure production targets are met

  • Support process improvements to increase repair quality and efficiency

  • Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians when needed

  • Maintain compliance with repair, inventory, ESD, and quality procedures

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical experience

  • 3+ years of server hardware repair, diagnostics, or data center hardware experience preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of server architecture, components, and configurations

  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

  • Experience interpreting diagnostic tools, test reports, and system logs

  • Working knowledge of server operating environments and networking fundamentals

  • Experience replacing and configuring server hardware components

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with repair tracking systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tools

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, or equivalent

  • Experience in server manufacturing, repair depot, data center, or enterprise hardware environments

Pay Details: $33.00 to $38.00 per hour
