Job description

Product Marketing Manager, HP Z Boost
Description -
HP is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to help drive market expansion, customer adoption, sales enablement, and business growth for HP Z Boost, HP's software solution that enables on-demand access to shared GPU resources for AI, visualization, rendering, and simulation workloads.
This highly collaborative role sits at the intersection of sales, customers, partners, and product teams. The successful candidate will partner closely with regional sales teams, business development managers, channel partners, and strategic customers to influence account activation, support opportunity progression, accelerate customer adoption, and expand HP Z Boost within key target accounts.
Unlike a traditional product marketing role focused primarily on messaging and asset creation, this position is highly customer- and sales-facing. Success will be measured through influence on demand generation, opportunity progression, customer adoption, sales readiness, customer advocacy, and business growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, partnering with sales teams to support business growth, building repeatable go-to-market motions, and turning early customer success into scalable market momentum.
What You'll Own
Sales Partnership & Account Growth
  • Partner directly with regional sales teams, BDMs, channel partners, and account teams to identify, support, and advance HP Z Boost opportunities.
  • Develop account engagement strategies aligned to customer priorities, business objectives, and growth opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and strategic account planning activities.
  • Help teams articulate value, differentiate HP Z Boost, and align solutions to customer needs.
  • Develop repeatable account engagement approaches that can be scaled across regions and industries.
  • Serve as the primary product marketing resource supporting sales execution, customer adoption, and opportunity progression.
  • Gather customer, partner, and field insights to continuously improve go-to-market effectiveness.

Sales Enablement & Readiness
  • Develop and deliver enablement programs that improve seller confidence, capability, and execution.
  • Create sales plays, presentations, battlecards, discovery guides, competitive positioning, and customer-facing assets.
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, office hours, and deal support activities to reinforce best practices.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify enablement gaps and improve field readiness.
  • Measure enablement effectiveness through seller engagement, opportunity progression, and adoption outcomes.

Customer Advocacy & Market Development
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand business challenges, validate use cases, and support adoption.
  • Partner with lighthouse customers and early adopters on evaluations, pilots, and expansion opportunities.
  • Build customer advocacy programs that support market credibility, customer acquisition, and business growth.
  • Develop customer success stories, testimonials, case studies, webinars, and co-marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with customers to showcase measurable business outcomes and best practices.

Go-to-Market Execution
  • Execute go-to-market initiatives that increase awareness, support demand generation, accelerate adoption, and contribute to business growth.
  • Identify priority industries, customer segments, and use cases with the highest growth potential.
  • Adapt solution positioning and content for specific industries, customer personas, and workflows.
  • Partner with Worldwide Marketing and Demand Generation teams to support integrated campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.

Ecosystem & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Support strategic ISV, alliance, and ecosystem initiatives that expand market reach and customer engagement.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Channel, and Marketing teams.
  • Represent customer and field perspectives within HP.
  • Help shape go-to-market priorities through customer, partner, and market insights.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders to support successful launches, adoption initiatives, and growth programs.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in Product Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Sales Enablement, Technical Sales, or related customer-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market initiatives, sales plays, customer adoption programs, or demand generation activities.
  • Experience partnering directly with sales organizations to influence demand generation, support opportunity progression, and accelerate customer adoption.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing presentations, workshops, executive briefings, enablement sessions, or training programs.
  • Experience engaging directly with customers to understand business challenges and support solution adoption.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure impact.
  • Ability to influence and drive results across cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including GPUs, CPUs, storage, networking, virtualization, AI infrastructure, or related technologies.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI infrastructure, GPU computing, virtualization, digital workplace solutions, VDI, HPC, cloud, hybrid computing, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology sales motions and customer adoption programs.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure buying centers, including IT leaders, architects, developers, data scientists, and business decision makers.
  • Experience working with channel partners, alliances, ISVs, or ecosystem stakeholders.
