FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Tree Care Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY: This full-time position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of tree culture performed within all client's associated with Wright Outdoor Solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:
  • Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper
  • Relay hand-signals, direct traffic, drive and operate trucks and equipment as assigned, and keep trucks and work area clear and orderly
  • Ensure that tasks in connection with the maintenance, pruning, trimming, transplanting, and felling of trees are executed properly
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
  • Work flexible hours in all weather conditions to accommodate the seasonality of the industry

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Prior climbing experience
  • Pesticide Applicator License (3OT) Required
  • Prior experience operating equipment is preferred
  • Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment
  • Must have the ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks and to keep project on-task, within budget and on-schedule
  • Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one
  • If no prior experience, willing to learn how to properly and safely use related tools to perform essential job functions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to push, pull, reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 75 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and complete daily paperwork
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
