Founded in 1968, MCH is an independent, multi-specialty physician group practice. Our goal is to provide excellent medical care in a compassionate and service-oriented environment utilizing the latest medical technology. MCH specializes in adult (ages 17+) Internal Medicine and also offers the following sub-specialties: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Medical Oncology/Hematology.
At MCH, our patients have same-day access to comprehensive in-house ancillary and diagnostic support services including: non-invasive cardiology studies e.g., stress sestamibi, treadmill, and echocardiogram; sleep disorder testing; chemotherapy and other infusion services; laboratory; diagnostic imaging including x-ray, mammography, ultrasound, bone density studies, CT, and MRI; nutrition and diabetes education; and executive and corporate health and travel services.
Medical Clinic of Houston, L.L.P. ("MCH") is seeking a hospitalist physician to see its patients at a premier hospital located within the world-renowned Texas Medical Center. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a growing, independent, multi-specialty physician practice serving adult patients.
Compensation/Benefits
  • Closed system - see MCH patients only;
  • Average 10-12 per day;
  • Competitive salary;
  • Eligible for Quality Incentive Bonus;
  • Employed position with comprehensive benefits package;
  • CME allowance; and
  • 1 weeks on, 1 week off schedule - providing coverage with 4 other hospitalists.

Standards
  1. Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately.
  2. Demonstrates excellent interpretive skills of test results.
  3. Demonstrates excellent procedural skills and appropriate use of procedures and testing.
  4. Understands and is responsive to patients' needs and concerns.
  5. Interacts with patients in a caring, sensitive manner.
  6. Receives minimal number of patient complaints. Receives positive patient satisfaction surveys.
  7. Demonstrates excellent diagnostic skills and identifies relevant medical issues accurately.

Education and Experience
  1. Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine, U.S. residency trained.
  2. Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
  3. Board certified in internal medicine and in area of specialty, if applicable, (must be board certified/eligible upon date of hire and must become board certified within first twelve months of employment)

4. BC/BE in Internal Medicine from ABIM.
