Job description

DoubleTree Hotel & Suites by the Galleria is looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented Housekeeping Supervisor that's passionate about cleanliness. If you have previous hotel housekeeping supervisor experience, submit your resume to apply!

Required Skills & Abilities:

-At least one (1) year of hotel Housekeeping Supervisor experience required

-Flexible to work AM, and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays

-Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written

-Bi-lingual in Spanish and English highly preferred

-High comfortability in working with computers

-Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and perform repetitive bending and stooping motions

-Able to lift/carry, push and pull at least 20 pounds

Job Description:

-Assist with supervising all housekeeping staff

-Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and service elevator landings and provide feedback when cleanliness standards are not met

-Assist with onboarding and train new hires on required duties and responsibilities

-Resolve guest concerns related to cleanliness issues and ensure guest cleanliness expectations are met

-Open Housekeeping department, run reports and conduct morning pre-shift meetings

-Close Housekeeping and perform closing duties when working PM shifts
