Now Hiring: Housekeeping & Laundry Manager


About the Role:


As our Housekeeping & Laundry Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry department, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will manage and inspect staff performance, maintain inventory, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in line with community policies and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities and staff assignments
  • Collaborate with nursing services to schedule cleaning tasks in resident living areas and common spaces
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet resident and facility needs
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols, especially when handling soiled linens or potential biohazards
  • Clean, organize, and restock housekeeping carts and linen/storage rooms, keeping them neat and orderly
  • Inspect and report missing or damaged furniture, equipment, or fixtures to the Maintenance Director
  • Manage inventory and keep all supply closets stocked and organized
  • Report maintenance issues in resident rooms promptly to the Maintenance Director
