Housekeeping Attendant
Job Description
Wage: $16 per hour
Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center. To be successful, you must be organized and able to work independently to complete your assigned tasks. It is your job to prepare hotel rooms that are ready for paying guests.
Typical duties will include:
• Cleaning and sanitizing hotel room bathrooms
• Vacuuming carpets and cleaning hard floors
• Making beds to hotel standard including hospital corners
• Properly sorting recycling and disposing of trash
This position is not for MSU students as it is a non-student position.
Required Qualifications
• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Must be able to move up to 25 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be available through Spring 2026
Preferred Qualifications
• Minor computer knowledge for online safety training
