Description

Our Public Areas Attendant will help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and guest-ready condition of all public spaces throughout the resort. This essential housekeeping and facilities support role ensures lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and shared spaces remain clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for all guests.


Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
  • Shift: 3rd Shift (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)
  • Department: Housekeeping / Resort Operations

What You'll Do

  • Clean and sanitize all public restrooms throughout the resort.
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, lounges, hallways, and high-traffic guest areas.
  • Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in all public and resort common spaces.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, cobweb removal, and surface cleaning of interior and exterior areas.
  • Shampoo carpets and assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of Marina Cottage and Prop Shop on scheduled rotations.
  • Restock supplies in designated storage and public areas (Front Desk, Wisconsin Room, etc.).
  • Respond to guest requests, questions, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or guest feedback to housekeeping leadership.
  • Follow daily assignments from the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
  • Ensure all assigned duties are completed on time and according to resort standards.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, cleaning, hospitality, or facilities experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and strong guest service mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic resort environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
