Job Responsibilities

As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned guest rooms, ensuring cleanliness standards are met while providing pleasant and professional service to all guests.ย ย 

Your specific duties in this role will include:

โ€ขย Maintain a clean and organized supply cart.
โ€ขย Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens.
โ€ขย Change linen and make beds.
โ€ขย Sweep, scrub, and mop floors.
โ€ขย Dust furniture and fixtures.
โ€ขย Wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
โ€ขย Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
โ€ขย Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
โ€ขย Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
โ€ขย Move furniture, hang and remove drapes, and roll carpets as needed.
โ€ขย Replenish guest room supplies, i.e. drinking glasses, bathroom amenities and writing supplies.
โ€ขย Ensure lost and found articles are tagged and turned into management.
โ€ขย Inspect room for maintenance needs and check all fixtures, equipment and room conditions (television, radio, lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance.ย  Report deficiencies.
โ€ขย Clean lobby, lounge, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways as assigned.
โ€ขย Replace light bulbs as needed.
โ€ขย Deep clean all assigned guest rooms and replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed.
โ€ขย Complete second housekeeping service for assigned rooms as needed.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated Hotel Housekeeper with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

โ€ขย Up to 1ย  month related experience or training in housekeeping
โ€ขย Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
