Job Title: Housekeeping Associate
Location: Manresa Jesuit Retreat House, Bloomfield Hills, MI
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests at Manresa Jesuit Retreat House. This position plays a important role in supporting the mission of the retreat house, ensuring all areas are well-kept and welcoming to reflection and spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning Duties:
    • Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and meeting spaces.
    • Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
    • Change linens and restock supplies as needed.
  • Guest Services:
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure guests arriving for retreats have a PERFECT room.
    • Ensure that all guest areas are clean, welcoming and comfortable.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Keep track of cleaning supplies and linen inventory; communicate needs to management.
    • Assist in ordering cleaning supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Maintenance Support:
    • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and special events.
    • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
