This job posting is for an hourly position out of our Centerville Health Center (Snellville) that will work up to 29 hours per week. The offered hourly pay for this position is $80 per.

This position is open until filled and may close at any time. Description of Duties

GNR Public Health is seeking a dedicated hourly Dentist to become an essential part of our community-focused dental team. In this role, you'll go contribute to the oral health of pediatric and limited adult patients in Gwinnett County. You'll help create a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate environment for every dental patient who walks through our doors. Job duties will include:

  • Work collaboratively with the Dental program team to provide preventive and minimal restorative dental services for primarily pediatric patients.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their parents regarding oral health.
  • Support program Dental Hygienists operations through standing orders, review of records, and provision of guidance and direction.
  • Assisting with other duties to support program operations.
  • You'll thrive in this position if you enjoy teamwork, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service, all while making a real impact on the health of our communities
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate or professional degree in dentistry from an accredited college or university and current Georgia license to practice dentistry. Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years working in a dental clinic setting providing preventive and restorative dental care for primarily pediatric patients. Proficient with computer utilization including documenting clinical care in an EMR. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
