PeaceHealth is looking for a per diem Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in Bellingham, WA!

Ideal Candidate

  • Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO with at least 2 years of post-training experience that includes hospital work

Practice Highlights

  • Pediatric Hospitalists provide in-house 24/7 coverage for Whatcom County's only community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma)
  • Scope of care includes Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support 
  • Growing program will include coverage with a second daytime hospitalists -shifts will include 12-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and 9-hour day shifts
  • Physicians are experienced, collegial, supportive, and focused on high-quality, evidence-based medicine 
  • Robust primary care team, strong continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient
  • EPIC EMR
