Success in this role requires strong business judgment, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to seeing work through to completion.
Job location: Remote, United States
Job type: Full time/Permanent
Salary range: USD 85,000- 100,000/year
Responsibilities
  • Independently manage complex client renewals, contract negotiations, and sourcing activities involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and ambiguous requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for procurement challenges, driving issues to resolution while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate project risks, identify roadblocks early, and proactively communicate mitigation plans to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and clients by providing thoughtful recommendations, sound business judgment, and solution-oriented guidance.
  • Maintain ownership of assigned workstreams from initiation through completion, ensuring commitments are met and stakeholders remain informed throughout the process.
  • Manage the customer contract lifecycle, including monitoring upcoming expirations, coordinating renewals, and maintaining accurate contract records within contract management systems.
  • Perform financial, budget, vendor, and contract analysis to support client decision-making, cost optimization, and procurement strategy.
  • Manage strategic vendor relationships, reporting, and channel programs to maximize client value, incentives, rebates, and operational efficiency.
  • Support Request-to-Pay processes and provide procurement technology support to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Support Telecom Expense Management activities, including inventory tracking, carrier dispute resolution, vendor coordination, and ad hoc client requests.
  • Partner with Client Engagement teams to identify opportunities to expand procurement and managed service offerings.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or contract management, including ownership of complex renewals, sourcing initiatives, and vendor relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including experience working with large datasets, financial analysis, reporting, and audit functions.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and drive business recommendations.
  • Experience reviewing, interpreting, and administering contractual agreements and renewal terms.
  • Experience supporting client-facing procurement, sourcing, or vendor management activities preferred.
  • Experience in professional services, technology distribution, technology resale, managed services, or related industries preferred.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally as needed.

Core Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying solutions and driving issues to completion.
  • Proven ability to work through ambiguity and changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when managing client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to appropriately assess when an issue can be solved independently and when escalation is required.
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency with a bias toward action and follow-through.
