Job description

Position Highlights
  • Department: Outpatient Clinic - Mental Health Services
  • Hours: 32 hours per week
Position Summary
To provide direct services as a part of a multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) will provide direct care, including individual, couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
Minimum Qualifications: threshold below which you would not hire.
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy
  • Possession of a valid clinical license in Connecticut
  • Ability to diagnose using DSM 5
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized
  • Must be able to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience providing direct clinical care is desirable
  • Additional certifications in specialized clinical care such as DBT, CBT, trauma-informed care, etc.
  • Experience/knowledge of substance use disorders
  • Experience/competency in working with LGBTQ+
