Job description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Lift Spotter to support a traveling security installation team on a short-term project in Clovis, NM. This role plays a critical part in maintaining job site safety while assisting with structured cabling and security camera installations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment alongside experienced low-voltage technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a dedicated spotter for lift operations, ensuring safe movement and positioning at all times
  • Maintain constant awareness of surroundings to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with site safety protocols
  • Support structured cabling installation efforts as directed by lead technicians
  • Assist with camera installation prep and support tasks
  • Communicate effectively with lift operators and team members during operations
  • Monitor equipment and work areas to ensure OSHA and site-specific safety standards are followed
  • Perform general jobsite support tasks as needed


Requirements

  • OSHA 10 Certification (Required)
  • Prior experience working on construction or low-voltage job sites preferred
  • Must have full PPE, including (but not limited to):
    • Hard hat
    • Safety vest
    • Steel-toe boots
    • Safety glasses
  • Reliable transportation to/from the job site
  • Clean-cut, professional appearance suitable for client-facing environments
