Job Title: SOC Operator 

Location: Abilene, TX
Pay Rate: $23.65/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly attentive Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to join our team in Abilene, TX. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume CCTV monitoring environment.

The SOC Operator plays a critical role in maintaining safety and security by monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple CCTV systems simultaneously in a high-speed operational environment
• Identify, assess, and respond to security events and incidents in real time
• Conduct accurate and timely data entry, logging incidents and activities in reporting systems
• Maintain visual focus for extended periods while reviewing alphanumeric data and video feeds
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal personnel
• Follow established protocols and procedures for incident escalation and response
• Ensure all activities are documented clearly, thoroughly, and accurately

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a SOC, security monitoring, or surveillance role preferred
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to perform routine data entry with speed and accuracy
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple screens and workflows simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and situational awareness

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Ability to maintain visual stamina and acuity while reviewing CCTV footage and computer screens for extended periods
• Capability to process and interpret alphanumeric data quickly and accurately
