Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse, RN, to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be interacting with pediatric patients and families. We are looking for a RN who operates with great attention to detail and has a big heart. This individual will take pride in creating a positive environment for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patients best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong ability to problem solve. 

Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate with other colleagues to provide office based medical care for well and sick pediatric patients
  • Administer medications, vaccinations and monitor patients for side effects or reactions  
  • Obtain and document vital signs, in-office testing and all communications provided to patients and patient families
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records of patient care and discuss observations with the physicians and physican extenders  
  • Perform telephone medical triage
Qualifications
  • Currently licensed RN in state of employment 
  • Previous experience as a Pediatric RN is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work within a team
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • First aid/CPR certification required
