Your future role at a glance

Location: Remote - Must be within 1 hour of Milwaukee, WI

Department: Transfer Center

Schedule: Mid shift | 11am - 11pm | Full Time

Salary: $40.41 - $57.05 (per hour)

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Facilitate patient movement across markets based on acuity, bed availability, and service requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate levels of care.
  • Connect requesting physicians with specialty consultants and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Assist and maintain records with pre-registration, insurance verification, and overall care processes for process improvement purposes.
  • Monitor status changes and relay pertinent medical reports to admitting physicians and nursing units.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
