5. Position Summary

Drive strategic growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal contracting opportunities that expand the company's portfolio across U.S. government agencies. Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecyclefrom opportunity identification through contract award.

6. Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting
  • Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract)
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
  • Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules)
  • Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
7. Primary Functions
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities
  • Develop and execute win strategies
  • Foster strong relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
  • Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems
