Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter - (Client Facing, Fully Remote)

Atomus Partners

Rochester, NY • Remote

Full-time, Part-time

Job description

Description

First things first…

This is a 100% remote position with 0–5% travel and the salary range is $37-46/hour. This is a part-time hourly position (hours will vary per week, estimated 5-10 to start) with the potential to go full-time in the near future or remain part-time. For the right candidate, full-time to start may be an option.

About Atomus Partners
Atomus Partners is a women-led, fully remote fractional HR and Finance firm that helps growing companies build strong, scalable people and operational foundations. We partner with small to mid-sized businesses across the U.S. to deliver hands-on HR, People Operations, Payroll, Recruiting, and Finance support—without the overhead of a full internal team.

Our model is collaborative and embedded: we don’t just advise from the sidelines, we become part of our clients’ teams. From compliance and systems to culture and growth strategy, we help leaders get out of the weeds and focus on building great companies.

About the role

We\'re growing our recruiting practice and looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in a part-time capacity, with the real potential to grow into a full-time role. You\'ll work directly with Atomus clients as an embedded recruiter, managing full-cycle searches across a variety of industries and functions. You\'ll represent Atomus externally, which means you need to show up polished, proactive, and like you\'ve done this before.

This is not a high-volume, transactional recruiting role. Our clients expect a consultative approach, and we need someone who knows how to read a room, manage expectations, and move searches forward without a lot of hand-holding.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for client accounts, from intake through offer
  • Partner directly with client hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and interview processes
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates with clear, thoughtful write-ups
  • Manage candidate experience and communication throughout the process
  • Keep hiring managers informed and accountable for timely feedback and decisions
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance day-to-day recruiting workflows — including sourcing, outreach, candidate summaries, and administrative tasks — and bring that knowledge to clients as part of the service we deliver
  • Maintain clean records and pipeline tracking
  • Represent Atomus Partners professionally in every client interaction

Requirements

What will make you successful in this role

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in SaaS — this is a hard requirement, no exceptions.
  • Experience supporting early-stage or scaling companies
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (we work across a variety depending on the client)
  • Must have experience hiring for both geographically specific locations and fully remote roles.
  • Strong sourcing skills — you\'re not waiting on inbound applicants and know creative ways to get passive candidates attention
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple searches at once, and stay organized without someone checking in on you
  • Clear communicator, written and verbal
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to different client cultures and processes

Good recruiters know how to stand out — and a great application is no different. We receive a lot of interest when we post roles, and the profiles that catch our attention aren\'t always the most experienced. They\'re the ones that show us something. Recruiting takes creativity, sourcing takes hustle, and client work takes personality. So don\'t just send a resume and hope we message you back (we might though!). Apply some creativity to the process.

Why Atomus?

At Atomus Partners, we live our core values: Commit to Quality. Create Solutions. Collaborate as One. Cultivate Raving Fans. Climb Higher.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and manage from a distance. This is a role for a leader who wants to build teams, shape strategy, and deliver real results—while helping others grow along the way.
If you’re excited by the idea of leading strong HR talent, partnering with ambitious clients, and helping scale a fast-growing company—we’d love to meet you.
