Job description

Compensation: $60k - $75k

Location: Primarily remote, with 1-2 days per week at our downtown Austin, TX office.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and a global leader in anti-fraud training and certification.

The Education Project Manager is a key member of the ACFE Education team, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing department projects and training publications. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables while ensuring high-quality results. The Education Project Manager serves as the department's project management expert, driving process improvements, overseeing workflows in Asana, and supporting the successful delivery of educational programs and initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  1. Serves as the project manager for Education department initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  2. Develops and maintains project plans in Asana, including timelines, dependencies, milestones, resource assignments, and progress reporting.
  3. Coordinates cross-functional projects by facilitating communication, tracking action items, identifying risks, and ensuring accountability among stakeholders.
  4. Monitors project schedules, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
  5. Oversees the production lifecycle for educational materials, including project planning, development, editing, quality assurance, and final delivery.
  6. Leads onboarding and provides ongoing training and support for Education team members on department processes, project workflows, and Asana best practices.
  7. Collaborates with internal departments to plan, develop, launch, and deliver ACFE conferences, self-study courses, group training programs, webinars, and other educational initiatives.
  8. Develops, documents, maintains, and continuously improves project management processes, production workflows, and operational procedures.
  9. Generates and communicates project status updates, priorities, and metrics to department leadership and project stakeholders.
  10. Performs other duties as requested or required.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of project management experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  3. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable project management certification strongly preferred.
  4. Experience using Asana or other project management tools.
  5. Experience with SalesForce CRM a plus.
  6. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  7. Proven skills in organizing work, attending to detail, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner
  8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges, recommend solutions, and drive projects to successful completion.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
