Summary of role
The Senior Specialist (Manager), Order Management Systems leads the execution and continuous improvement of the order-to-cash (OTC) process and supporting platforms. This role is focused on order application platforms and business process efficiently from creation through billing - supporting patient access, improving user interface & customer experience, and protecting revenue integrity.
This role combines operational execution with system ownership, requiring strong analytical capability, SAP experience, and the ability to translate business needs into system-driven solutions.
Reporting to the Director of Commercial Order Management Systems, this role partners cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, support and implement system enhancements, and maintain operational stability across OTC workflows.
The role requires a data-driven, problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage timelines, drive project execution, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • OTC Process Execution - Drive day-to-day performance of order-to-cash systems operations and functionality
  • Leverage defined KPIs (cycle time, error rates, order accuracy) to actively manage and improve performance
  • Process Improvement - Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer and provider experience.
  • Use data analysis and process mapping to identify root causes and prioritize improvement opportunities
  • System & Platform Support - Partner with 3rd party software vendor and internal technical teams to support OTC systems, integrations, and enhancements. Ensure stability, data integrity, and responsiveness to business needs.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA OTC processes and contribute to system enhancements, integrations (APIs/EDI), and workflow optimization
  • Governance & Compliance - Maintain SOPs, SLAs, and controls to ensure consistent execution and regulatory compliance (GDP, SOX, and applicable requirements).
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation Management - Lead resolution of complex order issues, collaborating across teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Customer Experience Focus - Incorporate feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to improve workflows and user platform reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and IT teams to ensure alignment across order processing, billing, and revenue recognition activities.
  • Reporting & Insights - Track and communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
  • Launch & Change Support - Support new product launches, system updates, and process changes to ensure readiness and smooth execution.
  • Team - Foster accountability and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in order management, OTC operations, or related systems.
  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, including order entry, billing, and revenue impact.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ordering platforms, integrations, etc..)
  • Hands-on experience supporting or enhancing SAP OTC modules (order processing, billing, invoicing)
  • Project Management experience managing deliverables, identifying risks, and aligning objectives to organizational goals.
  • Experience managing timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional deliverables in system or process initiatives
  • Ability to analyze operational data and drive informed process improvements.
  • Use of analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, SAP reporting) to identify trends and drive decisions
  • Proven experience collaborating across business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance environments (e.g., GDP, SOX).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience resolving operational issues and driving root-cause improvement.
  • Financial awareness, including impact on billing, revenue recognition, and working capital.
  • Experience prioritizing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear updates.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Background working with integrated Order to Cash ecosystems
  • Exposure to automation, data improvements, or process transformation initiatives including workflow automation or digitization of order intake processes
  • Experience supporting system implementations or product launches. Participation in UAT, cutover planning, or post-launch stabilization activities
  • SAP S4HANA (Order to Cash Modules - Invoicing, Billing, Order processing)
  • API Integration, Workflows and Process Mapping
  • Demonstrated ability to build dashboards (PowerBI, Visio) and process maps to support decision-making and improvement efforts

The pay range for this position is between $111,000 and $185,000 annually.
Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Employees in this position are eligible for a discretionary performance-based cash incentive. Benefits for this position include a comprehensive health benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. Other offerings include life and disability benefits, pre-tax accounts, a 401(k) with company contribution, and a variety of other benefits.
